Back to the Grind...The Geekly Grind!

By: Mithrandiel

What a year it's been so far, and we're barely halfway through!

In normal times, we'd be getting ready to head out for Anime Expo - exploring last minute interviews and poring over the summer schedule for shows to spotlight.

Of course, our times are far from normal.

When the country entered shutdown back in March, there was certainly an opportunity to re-double our efforts on content creation - after all, with the majority of us working from home...why not?

Those of you who visit and re-visit us regularly probably know that more content is not what ended up happening. In fact, fresh articles have been a rare beast on The Geekly Grind for the better part of these last 3+ months.

If you've been wondering where we've been, I am happy to announce that our Twitch Channel has been under some serious work, thanks to the consistent efforts of our own Thunderheavyarm. With some collaboration from the broader team, we've built out a six-night schedule of content, and recently celebrated obtaining Affiliate status!

So, if you'd like to continue supporting the site, following us on Twitch, maybe even sending your free Amazon Prime sub our way, would be greatly appreciated!

With that being said, I'm also happy to share that we will be resuming more regular articles and content in the days and weeks to come, with particular focus on the Summer anime season.

We've got anime sets to unbox and review, board games to explore, comics to reflect on, and much more. We'll be premiering a new podcast soon as well, in addition to our partnership with Knights of the Rolled Table.

Digital conventions have extended their invitations to us as well, and we will be thrilled to bring you whatever exclusive news we can, despite the fact that the 2020 convention season was effectively doomed from the start.

In short, we know that now, more than ever, it's important for you to be able to escape your weekly grind at The Geekly Grind.

Thanks for sticking with us.

-Jeremy
