You heard right! Shake off those cobwebs... Critical Role is picking up episode 100 of the Mighty Nein campaign in two weeks! We could not be any more excited to hear this news! The show will look a little bit different, but it is heartening to see the cast taking all the necessary steps to ensure others health and safety while also bringing us quality DnD happy fun times.

What's Changing?

You can still expect the same high quality sound, video, and game play Critical Role is proud to bring its fans. I, for one, am so thankful we didn't have to bog our way through hours long sessions of grainy Zoom calls and faulty audio.

With that in mind, the biggest change coming to these new episodes of Critical Role is that the episodes will be pre-taped and aired in the usual 7pm Thursday time slot. This pre-taped format allows for the cast to perform under less strict time structures and ensures that they have the space and time to keep production safe for everyone. Judging by the other pre-taped specials they've aired, we should feel confident that the story and role play quality will in no way be affected. Plus, the cast will be able to join in the comments on Twitch with the rest of us!

The cast will each have their own individual tables and cameras appropriately spaced apart. A skeleton crew will attend each session to prevent over crowding in the studio.

The Rest of the Story

Keep an eye out for more updates on a new 'social distance' version of Talks Machina! No official word has come out on what the show may look like, but Critical Role's other at-home content we may expect a video conference call with Brian and his weekly guest.

Have no fear, your At-Home broadcasting content is not going anywhere! Critical Role has promised to continue with their schedule as planned. This means more Narrative Telephone, a side-splitting character narrated version of everyone's favorite children's game (and by far the most popular new Critical Role show to date).

Also keep an eye out for more All Work No Play Unplugged! If you didn't catch last week's episode with Khary Payton, I would highly recommend taking the time to watch. Plus we may get more episodes of Yee Haw Game Ranch: Off the Ranch, featuring Brian W. Foster and Ashley Johnson recharging the game soul while the Chosen One takes a little TLC time. You don't want to miss the occasional puppet pop up tossed into the intro of these episodes.

Don't Miss Out!

If you're worried about diving right back in to the Mighty Nein's story (Dragon Turtles? TravelerCon Fyre Fest 3000? Are we the bad guys now?) have no fear! Our Loremaster Dani Carr is here to help. Dani has so helpfully written a comprehensive history of Campaign 2 that will be release before Episode 100 airs!

Also, if you're social media averse, or just prefer a good old fashioned newsletter, Critical Role has put together a Newsletter just for you! Click HERE, or go to Critrole.com to sign up for their email newsletter and get all the latest Critical Role news right to your inbox.

I can't believe it's finally time to say... Don't Worry!! It's almost THURSDAY! See you all again very soon.
