Crunchyroll Expo: Crunchyroll Industry Panel

By: Zero OmegaTaking place in the Grand Ballroom of the San Jose Convention Center, the Crunchyroll Industry Panel was the place to be for all the latest and greatest news coming from the anime streaming giant. We were on the scene as they began their announcements, starting with...

Community

Members of the community team at Crunchyroll took the stage to talk about a year in review of all their community efforts and how large the community is. We're shown a wall of Tweets from various users all over the world mentioning their love and how they are appreciative of the service. One Tweet definitely stuck out though which included a picture of a cat with a pizza. Upon the release of Attack on Titan season 3, Crunchyroll ran a campaign entitled, "A Snack on Titan" where fans needed to Tweet "@crunchyroll" along with "#AttackonTitan" and a pizza emoji and you'll be entered into a chance to win some free pizza! Over 1,000 pizzas were delivered to some lucky fans during this campaign.

Crunchyroll Games

Next we we have an update from the Crunchyroll Games project. A new collaboration with the mobile game, Danmachi Memoria Freese (also known as Danmemo), based on the anime, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Crunchyroll announced the release on Danmemo earlier this year, and now they are doing a new collaboration staring their very own mascot, Crunchyroll-Hime![embed]https://twitter.com/playCRgames/status/1035939089470709761[/embed]Along with her, Hestia also gets a new outfit inspired by Crunchyroll-Hime.Danmemo is available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

But wait! There's more!

The announcements didn't stop there as the panel started to wrap up. We were first given an announcement from Mamoru Miyano himself announcing the premiere of Zomebieland Saga in October.[embed]https://twitter.com/Crunchyroll/status/1036781138231078913[/embed]Along with an announcement that Black Clover will be continuing, and finally in October Crunchyroll will debut part 5 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure! And with that, the Crunchyroll Industry Panel wrapped up!
