Coming in 2018: Mithical Entertainment is becoming The Geekly Grind!

By: MithrandielWhether you're coming across this site for the first time, or checking in as part of your daily ritual to see what we've got posted today, I wanted to start by saying hello and thank you for visiting our little corner of the internet. It's been over 2 years now since I decided to start up this passion project, and it's provided me and my talented contributors some amazing opportunities. In the last year we've nurtured relationships with companies like VIZ, Kodansha, Asmodee Games, Funimation and many others.We were invited to PAX West for the 2nd year in a row, and I am excited to announce we will also have a presence at PAX South in January. We covered Anime Expo, Wondercon, CES, E3 and numerous other conventions this last year, and we hope to cover even more in 2018.As the site now enters its third year, we are committing to providing more media for our readers to enjoy - namely by creating a weekly podcast. Initially a side project, we found that the title for our podcast, The Geekly Grind, encapsulated our passions in a perfect manner. With the assistance of a couple talented friends, we even drafted a new logo and banner for The Geekly Grind, including our new mascot: Vektar.As of January, 2018 (we're shooting for the 1st, barring any technical difficulties) Mithical Entertainment will transform into something a bit different: a larger umbrella under which we hope to gather indie blogs cut from the same cloth. Central to this new network will be The Geekly Grind. We will be migrating all of our content to the brand and domain of The Geekly Grind, and will maintain a weekly podcast, which will post every Wednesday.As always, we thank you for continuing to check out our reviews and articles, and look forward to what 2018 has to offer.
