Cave Digger 2 Dig Harder [Review]

Cave Digger 2 is a fun game that mixes mining, fighting, exploring, and a bit of humor, with lots of stuff to unlock. Visually Cave Digger 2 looks really cool, It Reminds me of Borderlands in a way, with a mix of old west and dieselpunk vibes, and you've gotta think strategically to beat all the different challenges. It's a great follow-up to the first game, with a new story and world. The controls are mostly the same, but now you can shoot stuff. The map is way bigger, and you can even buy extra land. The ores look much better, and the enemies are detailed, like sea creatures that learned to live on land. It's not perfect, though. The controls can be a bit tricky, the fighting isn't amazing, and you can't go back to places you've already been. Using ropes can be awkward, and you can get stuck sometimes.

Some things aren't explained well, you don't have much inventory space, even with upgrades, and the levels are pretty short. You can also accidentally drop things while moving. Even with those problems, it's still a good time, especially in VR and with friends online. You can go into the mines together, fight off monsters, and dig up valuable stuff. You can buy and upgrade weapons and other helpful items, like more inventory space. It's worth noting that players do not need VR to play this game. I personally think its a better experience with it. If you liked the first game or you're into VR, you should definitely check out Cave Digger 2!
