Ashen Arrows [Review]
Ashen Arrows offers a story mode, decent level design, audio, and narration. Additionally, a vast number of unlockable upgrades are available for your bow and arrow. Beyond the story mode, a defense mode is accessible for both solo and multiplayer experiences (up to 3 players). The game excels in both single-player and multiplayer contexts, featuring quick loading times and seamless drop-in/drop-out functionality for multiplayer. The multiplayer maps boast a wide range of unique abilities and enemies, with optional Hardcore modifiers to increase the challenge for experienced players.
However, some players may experience virtual reality sickness due to optimization issues. The teleportation mechanic can cause slight discomfort, and subtle terrain variations may also induce motion sickness. Simplifying the environment, particularly by making the terrain flatter and more uniform, could alleviate these issues. Ashen Arrows is a pretty fun game solo for the story mode and a pretty good time with friends. Ashen Arrows is available now for the Meta Quest and Steam for 17.99
