Aaero 2 [Review]
In my experience, “Aaero” is one of the most entertaining rhythmic games I've ever played. While it can be quite challenging at times, I highly recommend this unique and fun gaming and musical experience. As players progress, the levels become significantly more challenging. Everyone's first experience will be basic rhythm gameplay, not much fighting, and no stage obstacles, but the game continues to introduce more enemies while also increasing the difficulty of the rhythm multiplier along with battle toads like hurdles and walls to avoid. This design keeps the experience engaging and prevents it from becoming stale.
It's worth noting that when playing in a local co-op session, the music and difficulty are not locked and can be played freely. Aaero in a nutshell, combines rhythmic games with bullet hells and includes boss fights. These boss fights are just so much fun, and each provides a different play style to overcome. Co-Op is the biggest feature this time around. Everything enjoyed alone can also be done with a friend, both online and locally. VS is also an option for score competition. Co-Op splits up the amount of ribbons each player uses when playing through a song, making for some very satisfying flight patterns. Lastly, the soundtrack is fantastic. I saved so many of these songs to my Spotify, just as I did for the first Aaero. The music is engaging and brings this entire experience together, and the developers made sure to only put absolute bangers in this game.
