Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be getting 75 days of access to Crunchyroll Premiums as one of their perks. “We know that a lot of our gamers are big fans of watching anime, so we’re pleased to announce we’re now teaming up with Crunchyroll, the global anime brand, to bring our members Crunchyroll Premium at no extra cost.
Ultimate members can get more out of anime with 75 days free of Crunchyroll Premium: Mega Fan. With Mega Fan, members can enjoy over 1,000 series ad-free, with access to new episodes simulcast one hour after premiere in Japan, and more!” said Adam Harris, Product Marketing Manager at Xbox.
However, it’s important to note that this offer is only available to Game Pass Ultimate members who will be new customers to Crunchryoll Premium. Current Crunchyroll Premium members will not be able to take advantage of this perk. Unfortunately, gamers in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong SAR will also not be receiving this perk.
A lot of online discourse is that Game Pass is the best deal in gaming, and with the addition of this perk Xbox continues to make a strong case for that claim. That’s because there’s a large contingent of gamers who watch anime, so this announcement makes a lot of sense.
Game Pass Ultimate members who are eligible for this perk need to claim it by February, 8th, 2002 and redeem it by March 8th, 2022.
