WonderCon 2018 Spotlight - Previously on X-Men: The Making of the X-Men Animated Series

By: MithrandielSure, superhero movies are all the rage now, but it wasn't too long ago that folks struggled to bring such "niche" titles to a broader market. When they finally did premiere, as with the X-Men Animated Series in the 1990s, it proved far more successful than anyone could have dreamed. Eric Lewald, who was the showrunner for the original animated series, was at WonderCon promoting the recently released book on its development and release: Previously on X-Men. He was kind enough to sit down with us for an interview about the project - take a listen below![arve url="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/419263908&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true" /]Eric was also kind enough to provide The Geekly Grind with a review copy of the book, which we will be gladly reviewing in the next week. Once our review is done, we'll be orchestrating a giveaway - so be sure to keep an eye on our social media for a chance to win this autographed copy!
