Void Crew [Early Impressions]

Void Crew is an early access game that combines gameplay reminiscent of Deep Rock Galactic and Sea of Thieves. In this game, you and a team of other players must complete retrieval missions and engage in combat in space to protect cargo or other ships. My team consisted of three players. Our ship was equipped with an automatic turret and an additional gun for one of my teammates. I acted as the pilot and was responsible for evading enemy attacks while another crew member disembarked to complete objectives. In addition, players are frequently tasked with repairing the ship and replenishing essential components.

I really like this game, but there are a few things that drive me crazy. First, the ship is so slow it feels like you're going nowhere. This makes flying feel awful. Second, enemies constantly spawn, so there's no downtime to get resources or complete objectives. Third, flying around in the large empty void of space is just way too slow and makes combat feel wrong. Finally, the cosmetics aren't great, and earning them isn't great either. Overall, this game is really fun with the right group of people, and teamwork is key to flying the ships and being successful on missions. Luckily, this game is in early access, so hopefully, many things can change and improve.

Opinion and score subject to change

Since this is an early access my score is subject to change as the game is updated. There are aspects of the game that I hope will change over time. After a few updates, I will review the game again and provide updated feedback. In the interim, I will continue to play the game and keep this article current.
