The Pull! [2.5.25]

We both know why we are here this week, so let’s get right into The Pull!

Starting off we are going to be talking about DC Comics! Absolute Superman #4 is out this week, as Kal-El keeps avoiding the Peacemakers and Lois Lane, another faction enters the stage The Omega-Men! Are they friend or foe?

Up next is Batman #157, the Court of Owls plans are in full swing as Gotham is once again throw into chaos and Batman is fighting as much as he can but is it enough to save Gotham? I hope so, but we got to wait and see.

From DC to Marvel!

I hope you like Luke Cage because I do and this week’s recs are Luke Cage comics, just being upfront about that. Let’s get into them!

Power Man: Timeless #1 continues the story that was first explored in the last issue of Timeless where we first met this version of Power Man and how he ended up in the mainline 616 universe. What is his role going forward?

From the mainline 616 to the new ultimate universe, The Ultimates #9 takes us right into a prison break with this universes Luke Cage leading the charge!

Next up we make our way to BOOM Studios with a new series called Bronze Faces #1. This is a tale that follows childhood friends who decide to take it upon themselves to steal back tons of relics and art that was stolen from their home country.

Lastly on today’s list is from Image Comics, The Rocketfellers #3. This series has been a joy to read so far and with issue #3, a time bounty hunter is after the family!

That may be the end of this week’s comics but now let’s take a look into some future comics that will FOC next week!

I hope you haven’t gotten enough Spider-Man because the first one of the FOC list is Web of Spider-Verse: New Blood #1 with an FOC of Feb 10th. This is a first appearance of some new spider people as it leads up into the upcoming Spider-Verse vs Venom-Verse crossover later this year.

I don’t know much of who The Secret Six are in DC comics, but with Secret Six #1 coming out maybe I will get to know them better!

Up next we have Defiant #1 from DSTLRY coming out on March 12th. Our main character Sandusky is on his way to pick up the body of his son who has passed away but as he gets to the ship that holds his sons remains, things start to take a twist, and new mysteries come to light!

That is a wrap for The Pull! this week, hope y’all enjoy whatever comics you pick up and let me know what comes I should be on the lookout for next week!
