The Sims 4 Adds Sexual Orientations in the Next Update

It's me our resident anime trash and Sims Guru, reporting on the long-time requested and never thought to be coming sexual orientation update. With the release of the new EP in about 11 days comes a gameplay change that I've wanted forever.

More info about the update is here. Long and short of it, there will be a few tweaks during CAS that affect who characters are interested in engaging with romantically, and then who characters are interested in messing around/woohooing with (if you know what I mean).

It's also noted in the update that non-binary is not currently an option due to technical reasons (sims are only programmed to be recognized as male or female). The developer writing the update noted that this is something they hope to change in the future. As of right now, it'll be a while before that changes.

Most importantly, this feature cannot be turned off. As the developer says...
