Do you know what time it is? It’s NEW COMIC BOOK DAY! Let’s get right into it with The Pull! 

Sometimes I spin a wheel to see what publisher I do first on these but this week I knew exactly what comic I wanted to talk about first, let’s get into it with IDW Publishing first!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #2! I think that is all I need to say but if you want more please check out Jeremy’s review of it on our website! If you don’t want any spoils just pick it up yourself!

Up next for IDW Publishing is something a little more classic,

Godzilla’s Monsterpiece Theatre #3, this comic is a very fun and wacky tale of people like Sherlock Holmes and Jay Gatsby teaming up with classic movie monsters like Dracula to try and stop Godzilla! Just a fun time that is for sure!

Now let’s move on to Boom! Studios, and let’s start with a little body horror, In Bloom #2 is coming out this week, and if you haven’t read the first issue well you should. People slowly turned into fungus monstrosities as they grew but they like it, they see it as a privilege because not everyone can Bloom.

Next up for Boom! Studios this week is Power Rangers Prime #3! It has been a pretty great start to this new rebooted universe where things may be familiar but far from what is the norm. Rita is back and the choice she makes this issue will change the Prime universe going forward!

Next stop the Wild Wild West with Deadly Tales of the Gunslinger Spawn #2 this week! I was not a Spawn reader but after Issue 1 came out, I understood why people liked Spawn and its overarching universe. I hope to continue this new joy with issue 2 and I hope that you join me for it!

If you have been keeping up with Skybound and the Energon Universe, you are really going to like this next comic! Void Rivals #16 Skuxxoid vs. Pythona!

Now let’s get into the DC corner for this week as we talk about Justice League Unlimited #3, this series has been a fun adventure of the week with its rotating roster and new situations that the league is facing while also giving us stories of other Justice League members and their issues happening off to the side. It’s been fantastic to read!

Superman #22, this run has had a lot of twists and turns so far. This week Superman has to help save…Doomsday?? Yes, that is right, Superman and Doomsday have to team up to stop Doomsday from being abducted by an alien strike team!

Last but not least is Marvel this week with a really interesting a honestly out of pocket team up with Doctor Doom & Rocket Racoon #1. This is a one shot that tells the tale of what if Doctor Doom needed to ask a favor of Rocket Racoon? There will be mischief, and miscommunication but what about an emotional journey? Who knows, got to read to find out!

Ending off this week is Ultimate Spider-Man #13! This time is Kraven’s turn to try and capture Spider-Man and the Green Goblin! This issue is a love letter to “Kraven’s Last Hunt” so you know it’s going to be good!
