New "The Ink and Paint Club" and "Talking Mons" Episodes
Time for our…semi-regular…post about the newest “The Ink N’ Paint” podcast episodes. It’s Geekly Grind writer and podcast host, Janette, here with the most up-to-date releases.
First off, there have been TWO episodes of "The Ink N’ Paint Podcast" since I last posted an update. Episode 282 had our host talking about the 50th anniversary of Fritz the Cat. JD and the gang are braver than me…I’m 30 and I still feel like I’m too young to watch this.
Episode 283 has no lewdness and covers the wholesome and delightful Pompo the Cinephile. The whole Talking Mons crew got together for this episode, including me. I recommend this movie, and if possible, see it in theaters, as it's an absolute visual treat. If you want to know more about the film though, listen to the podcast. We had a lot of good stuff to say. Full disclosure, I completely fuck up this episode because I forgot to switch to push to talk until about 15 minutes in, but if you can put up with it, the content is good
Talking about "Talking Mons", we were on hiatus for reasons beyond our control. Toei had a cyberattack and left us hanging. Good news, it came back, with the creepiness and spider factor amped up to 11. How is this children’s show? We don’t know. We’re adults watching this and we’re definitely not okay after these two episodes
