Supermoves [Review]
Supermoves is a parkour racing game that draws parallels with Doritos Crash Course and Action Hank. While character customization options are restricted, the game's immersive gameplay and diverse activities make up for it. A single-player campaign boasts varied locations and objectives, complemented by a level editor for user-generated content. Almost every level I've played, whether it's player-made or made by the developers, has been entertaining.
Multiplayer mode supports up to 40 players, featuring game modes like tag and King of the Hill, along with the standard relay races with plenty of rolling, sliding, rail grinding, and shortcuts. Players can track progress, earn rewards, and customize avatars. With only three racing companions so far, I've experienced the game's diverse offerings. The first-person play style echoes gameplay similar to Mirror's Edge, while the third-person play style resembles Prince of Persia or the 3D sections of Sonic Lost World or Sonic Adventure. Players can track progress, earn rewards, and customize avatars.
I've spent several enjoyable hours playing with friends and alone on the Lenovo Legion Go. Recently, SuperMoves FreeRun version was released, enabling friends to play together, provided one player owns the full game. The game's nature restricts detailed discussion, but it excels as a racing game. While being oceanwide, the game is a pond deep. Despite lacking depth, the $14.99 price is spot on. SuperMoves stands out as one of the year's best games, and I wish for a console version.
