Stellaris: Aquatics Species Pack Drops Today

Heads up water loving folks! The Stellaris: Aquatics pack dropped today. There are quite a few new offerings, all of which can be seen on the Steam page. There are some that affect gameplay, such as new origins, a civic ascension perk, and most shocking of all a new trait called Aquatic. I kid I kid. I particularly dig the Here There Be Dragons origin, which has a dragon lording over your empire for better or for worse.

And then there's the best part, the cosmetics. New beautiful aquatic dragon, aquatic ship, a seafarer (just say pirate) advisor, and some sleek new portraits. Ever wanted to be a dolphin with a massive brain? Or a squid person? Well, you are in luck!

If you're a player heavily into the roleplaying of Stellaris, this pack seems to offer some nice variety. If not, today at least brought so nice QOL changes to the game and AI improvements without having to buy the DLC. With today being a lighter week of game offerings as well as a holiday weekend, seems like the perfect time to revisit space.
