PAX West 2024 Spotlight: Fowl Damage

Platformers can be precarious business - from the death-defying jumps of Celeste to the high-speed chaos of Super Meat Boy Forever, the genre has explored numerous corners of unique mechanics over the years. Added to the list is this years Fowl Damage: a platformer that puts you in charge of arguably one of the most delicate things there is - an egg.

Check out my interview with Fowl Damage’s developer, as well as some gameplay to help demonstrate just what makes this little game so special. It was an unexpected delight on the show floor, and a great way to end my first day at PAX 2024!
