My Hero Academia Season 2 Episode 4 (Review)

Deku is a marked man because of the points he is assigned, which make it a challenge to find teammates. He is even spurned by a classmate he thinks would be a good fit.He ultimately ends up with Ochako being on his team, which isn’t surprising as they’ve been paired up in the past and have a good relationship. The two wildcards thrown into the mix is Fumikage and Hatsume. While Fumikage is in class 1-A with Deku they haven’t spent too much time together, and Hatsume is part of the support course. It’s an odd grouping, however there are a lot of odd partnerships that spring up because of the competition.As expected Deku’s group is immediately under attack, testing the newly formed troop. Fortunately, they are given some breathing room by an unusual set of circumstances. Class 1-B has formulated a plan to get some of the spotlight for themselves, and it throws a wrench into the proceedings. It adds a nice liveliness to the event, and allows it to become more than just Deku’s team versus everyone else.The fourth episode starts off a bit slow because it’s used to recap the previous episode, but once that’s over with the rest is thoroughly enjoyable. Things were kept interesting because of the groupings that formed and the plan hatched by class 1-B. Although it looks as if Todoroki will go full steam ahead to try and dethrone Deku regardless of what’s going on around them, which should be a good matchup.
