Bandai Namco Combines Monster Rancher and Ultraman for Their New Game
Bandai Namco dropped a very unexpected crossover to excite all of us. Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is a new game featuring a crossover between Monster Rancher and...Ultraman???
While wholly unexpected for me (especially given we haven't seen a new Monster Rancher game in ages...and NO, the remaster, while great, does not count), I definitely welcome it. Raising kaijus to fight each other makes perfect sense in the context of Monster Rancher's world. Such perfect sense that I can't believe I never considered the idea before.
While another mainline entry would have been nice, I cannot wait for this! The game promises the staples of the series, such as tournaments and adventures. However, there are some new things too..like farming???
It drops sometime this year for the Nintendo Switch. I can't do justice to how cool this look, so see the trailer below!
