An Interview with Tom Scioli

I’m always stunned by the breadth and depth of talent to be found in the comic industry…as well as the opportunities to pursue visually and thematically interesting stories. So, when I saw a unique issue come into my inbox in the form of Godzilla’s Monsterpiece Theater, which pits a handful of classic literary figures like Gatsby, Sherlock Holmes, Jules Verne and others against Godzilla, the Grandfather of all Kaiju, my curiosity was more than piqued.

Complementing this unique story was an aesthetic in the vein of comics from the late 1950s to early 1960s, and both the story and art were brought to life by Tom Scioli. I had a chance to chat with Mr. Scioli about this recent work, so take a listen!
