"We’re very excited to be returning to Boston for the nine year anniversary of our first-ever Indie MEGABOOTH showcase," said Kelly Wallick, IMB's founder. "Many things may have changed since that first show, but we’re still committed to creating a welcoming and diverse lineup of games and creators that fans of any genre will love. It’s important to us that we foster a community of positive creativity and that our commitment is reflected in the games we select each year for our events. Every show is a labour of love and it’s thanks to the many people behind the scenes, volunteers, developers and partners that we are able to return each year with such an awesome showcase."
IMB showcases are made possible thanks to generous sponsorships and partnerships from companies that see the importance of creating a sustainable independent game development ecosystem. It is thanks to this year's sponsors ID@Xbox, PlayStation, Tencent, Unreal Engine, Oculus, iam8bit, and Intel that the MEGABOOTH continues to be a resource for so many international developers.
