Critical Role Shakes Things Up

Some big changes were announced today by the cast of Critical Role. In a video posted to Youtube and on their website, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, and Travis Willingham outlined some of the exciting new things happening to our favorite RPG Dungeons and Dragons series. Here's what you can expect!

New Channel

Critical Role was proud to announce they are finally going to have their own YouTube and Twitch channels. Don'e worry though, you can still find their old videos and content through the Geek and Sundry channels as well. The new channels will be specific to Critical Role and will have all the new episodes, old episodes, bonus Fireside Chats with Matt, bonus One-Shots (like Marisha's Honey Heist 2 Electric Beargaloo), and some exciting new shows yet to be announced.

Geek and Sundry and Critical Role will remain broadcast partners and you can still watch Critical Role on Geek and Sundry's channels for the live broadcast or on their YouTube channel.

New Set

Although their current set still feels brand new, it's time for a change! I can't wait to see how amazing their beautiful Wyrmwood table looks in the new studio. There have been huge improvements in the set and sound quality since day one and, my guess is, there can only be better improvements from here. I have been loving the new camera angles, battlemap close-ups, and new mics. (Please don't ever go back to clipped on personal microphones!) It will be fun to see what props, artwork, and fan-made trinkets make it over to the new set.

More Love for the Critters

With the new channels, sets, and a revamped website, the cast was sure to make the fans feel loved and heard. There will be a special page on their website to view the Fan Art every week, and the opportunity to directly message Critical Role with comments and suggestions. Marisha also mentions that they have taken over their merchandise store and will be able to really cater to what the fans want. So now is your chance to get your Tusk Love t-shirt into the Critical Role Store! Check out their first Campaign Two T-Shirt now available in the store.

As a side note, Critical Role has announced that there will be no new episode of Talks Machina on July 3rd and no new episode of Critical Role on July 5th to give them time to move sets.
