Human Fall Flat VR [Review]

Human Fall Flat was originally released on console and PC years ago, but now players can experience this game in VR on the Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, and Steam. The VR version, although the same game as its previous console and PC counterparts, Human Fall Flat VR, does provide some small differences in the gameplay. The movement of the arms in the VR version of the game is much more expressive and hysterical than in the console version. Also, I feel it is much easier to control your character with the wonky, awkward ragdoll physics. Human Fall Flat still holds all the same charm as the console version, and with the inclusion of VR now, players can have what I feel is the definitive way to play.

This game is amazing, but one thing I don't like is not having an option for first-person. Don't get me wrong, this game is great in 3rd person, but having the option would have been a nice touch and could have brought a whole new mechanic and play style to the game. Also, first-person would make climbing a lot more fluid and enjoyable.

The VR Controllers mimic your movements with the character movements, making for a more expressive gameplay experience than what was provided on the console version. The levels in Human Fall Flat grow in size and complexity as the game progresses. In a nutshell, if you have played Human Fall Flat on other platforms, you know what to expect here: the same maps and skins/cosmetics. However, this is still an incredible game, just in a new format. I am thoroughly enjoying it.
