Sorry for the radio silence, geeks! We now bring you back Scarlette's weekly installment of highlighted anime and video game news! SWORD ART ONLINE- New Light Novel Spin OffThe rumor mill is once again turning its wheels very vigorously for SOA, and the never doubt a dedicated fan bases's attention to detail. A very small, early, posting for a spin off series of SOA was published recently. We're talking an article the size of a quarter, but it's got fans worked into a tizzy because they're able to visit the SOA universe. This time the story is said to follow a detective who is poking around an old SOA mystery. The fan base is speculating that this "detective" might be an information broker by the name of Argo.
DARK SOULS- Official BOARD GAME. I'm sure a few of you geeks are licking your wounds, possibly drying your frustrated tear soaked face, and taking a much needed breather from Dark Souls III. Congratulations on not breaking your console!...Yet! That being said, Dark Souls is getting an official board game! Instead of breaking your controller, you can now officially flip your table over as this board game beats you senselessly into oblivion! Take your Dark Souls abuse into a new form! Debut for the game will be this month on Kickstarter, keep your eyes peeled! Gears of War- Lock, Load and LaunchA new Gears of War game wouldn't be complete without a new gruesome kill move:[youtube id="lM7t0Ojb7y0"] PSYCHO PASS- Mandatory HappinessTo say Im Psycho Pass fangirl is an understatement. It's one of my favorite series, so when I heard it was getting a video game and we were getting it State side I was pretty much throwing my wallet at my computer screen. Now, it isnt an actual video game, but rather a visual novel. If you were hoping to run around Tokyo with a dominator, that wont be happening in Mandatory Happiness. Basically, you'll be a reading a very detailed- voice acted, animated-, pick your own adventure-esk type game. Mandatory Happiness drops September 13th in the States, for the PS4 and PS Vita, the game will also be avliable via Steam but a release date has not yet been announced. Mandatory Happiness has a limited edition also coming up, priced at $69 on the PS4 and $59 on the Vita--it comes with all the usual collectibles: art book, soundtrack, and some bonus knick-knacks. 
Valkyrie Anatomia- The OriginAlright JRPG fans, one of our beloved franchises is getting a new installment! The Valkyrie Profile is getting a new game by the titles of: Valkyrie Anatomia- The Orgin. Not much known about the game, the teaser site only dropped this week and there isnt even a whole lot of info on that! Sailor Moon Drops- Mobile Puzzle Game In case you haven't heard about it from the fangirls, Sailor Moon Drops- a game for your mobile devices- released in Japan last year, but FINALLY made it's way to the States this week! Its acute matching puzzle game, nothing complex, that loosely follows the Sailor Moon story lines. Like all mobile games, it makes its money on micro transactions. By the way, the game has positively cute graphics, the execution of the game play is good, and worth a play if youre a Sailor Moon fan. 
Humble Bundle: TellTale BundleLook, Humble Bundle is always an excellent deal, but you cant go wrong paying $12 for all the stuff they're offering.
