Final Vendetta [Review]
I was unsure of how to review Final Vendetta. My experience with the game was rather short and wonky. I had to stream the game using Parsec. In a short explanation, Parsec is a program that allows people to play local multiplayer games online with friends. I was fortunate enough to have a subscriber to my YouTube channel that had the game, so I played it with them since my review key didn’t work. Final Vendetta is your typical beat 'em up classic, doing nothing to reinvent the wheel and nothing to really stand out in this new surge of beat 'em ups as of late. Final Vendetta features vibrant, well-detailed sprites, somewhat diverse enemies, and the option to pick up weapons. It does feel a bit odd to say “You can pick up weapons,” but I have played a lot of beat 'em up games recently that don't allow players to do so or even throw weapons, so I was happy you could on this game.
Final Vendetta is very short, clocking in at around one hour, making the $25 asking price a bit ridiculous. This game doesn’t have the quality needed for a price that high, especially with streets of rage and shredder revenge towering over it. My overall experience was okay, although it would’ve been nice to be able to play the game natively. If Final Vendetta was $10, I could recommend it, although it thinks it can compete with the best (TMNT and Streets of Rage) with its ridiculous pricing and not even providing a fraction of the experience and quality. I am unable to recommend it in any fashion at such a high price. Simply put, this is not a $25 game. A Price adjustment could be the catalyst for this game's success.
