DIE ISSUE 6 (SPOILER FREE COMIC REVIEW)

Summary

DIE triumphantly returns with issue 6, commencing the highly anticipated SPLIT THE PARTY arc! Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans continue to verbally and visually paint a beautiful story of loss, disparity, struggle and sacrifice. Last we saw our main characters, Chuck and Isabelle chose to remain in this fantasy world leaving Ash, Matt, Angela and Sol stranded. Issue 6 picks up right where we left off!

Review

DIE continues to prove why it is one of the best running titles in the comic book industry. After an incredible initial 5 issue run, it's understandable to raise concern surrounding quality control. I can assure you that Issue 6 continues the stellar legacy of what came before. The dialogue and interactions between characters add depth to the already rich backstory provided by Gillen. Stephanie Hans' art and page design are nothing short of spectacular. Her ability to convey real emotion in still frames is masterful. It wouldn't be an issue of DIE without a major reveal or incredible moment and trust me, you will not be disappointed. Aside from a few pages that seemed to move relatively slow (which is me having to excruciatingly nitpick in order to find anything to complain about) DIE issue 6 is a must read for any fan of comics or fantasy.

DIE issue 6 hits stores August 7th, 2019 so make sure you pick up your copy because they will definitely sell out! If you're more of a digital comics person, you can purchase your copy right here!
