Die by the Blade [Impressions]

Die by the Blade is the second Bushido Blade-style game to come out this year and, oddly, only a month apart from the last game I reviewed that has a similar play style. How does it stack up to the competition? Visually, this game is impressive. The presentation is impressive, with quick and snappy menus as if this were made by Sony or Capcom themselves. The gameplay is flashy and fun. Like all Bushido Blade-like games, it's one-hit kills. If you don't dodge, block, or parry, you will die. This game also has dismemberment and make you feel cool then you cut someone’s arm or head off.

This is a very fun fighting game and can offer players hours of gameplay if the game isn't so greedy and devoid of content. The game starts with players with one character, sword, and sad customization. This game should have had early access. I played for a while and earned almost nothing. My friends and I played the game 1V1 Locally and just got bored of the lack of substance in the game. I like this title but there just isn't anything that can keep someone engaged enough. Everything should not be locked behind a leveling system if there isn't enough to do to earn everything, especially if I can't choose other characters from the start. Die by the Blade will be available for PC and For Consoles Later this year for Xbox and PlayStation. When this game gets released on PlayStation 5 I will review it. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough content here to review this game. If I had to score it based on what I available now. this game gets a 5/10
