Destroyer The U-boat Hunter [Mini Review]

Destroyer the U-boat Hunter is a simulation naval combat game made by Iron Wolf Studio S.A. and published by Daedalic Entertainment. In Destroyer the U-boat Hunter, players go into battle hunting your enemies during World War II. This game provides a unique experience with procedurally generated battles. Regardless of weather conditions or time of day, players can expect no repeats in patterns or attack strategies during their playthrough. During my playthrough, I had a hard time figuring everything out. With enough patience and dedication, I was able to sort of play it effectively. This game at its core, is a simulation, so everyone's mileage will vary when it comes to engagement and gameplay. I will say this game is not for everyone and although it's certainly not for me I played it with a friend alongside me who loves these kinds of games and he provided support for me during the rough patches. I enjoyed the graphics of the game and the water physics. This game may not be the best looking game but it had its moments of beauty, and Ultra Wide support is also present. Something worth noting, Destroyer the U-boar Hunter has a career mode that’s fully voice acted and will provide hours of gameplay. This game is incredibly detailed and clearly, someone working on this game was a part of the USN or military. The verbiage and amount of thought and strategy a player has to put into the game is insane and someone with a brilliant mind crafted this masterpiece and honesty if you are a chess player maybe this game may be a game for you.

Simulation Games usually never have a career mode or story mode, so this was a welcome surprise.
