Deep Beyond [Review]

Deep Beyond is a stylized, story-driven puzzle game developed by and published by.  Deep Beyond is a beautifully stylistic game, with the colors of the world constantly changing with the scenery. The graphics are unique and look stunning on the Steam Deck OLED. In the game, you take on the role of —— who is a deep sea diver who works for an archeologist and or treasure hunter named Howard. At the start of the game, your father figure whom you work with gets kidnapped. Strangely enough, the main character doesn’t seem to care that Howard is missing at the beginning of the game because she wants to look for a chalice at the  Bottom of the sea. The puzzles in the game are pretty straightforward. The game doesn’t hold your hand, and every puzzle needs common sense and aren't too particularly difficult. If someone was bad at puzzle games, they would be able to pick this game up fairly easily. This game is only about an hour long, so I won’t say much more about the story. Deep Beyond is a beautifully crafted game, and for $4.99, this is a definite recommendation.
