Crowbar Climber [Review]

Crowbar Climber is a VR game that focuses on the principles of physics and climbing using crowbars. While there might not be many features to discuss, the game successfully achieves its objective of providing an enjoyable, challenging, and engaging experience. Players are tasked with ascending as far and as quickly as possible before their energy reserves are depleted. Crowbar Climber at times will make its players pause and strategize the optimal route to progress from point A to point B. For instance, hanging onto a rotating platform while waiting for the moment to leap to the next rotating platform, only to land on a moving platform, can leave players perplexed and contemplating the timing of their jumps.

An absolute must for this game could be the incorporation of a multiplayer mode, which would introduce additional chaos and excitement. The presence of multiple players climbing simultaneously could transform the game into a social phenomenon. Additionally, a cooperative climbing experience could also be highly engaging. Picture this scenario where you and a friend are climbing, and suddenly one of you falls, but you manage to catch their crowbar with yours and propel them upwards to the next ledge, allowing them to continue climbing. Ya sounds epic, doesn't it? But I digress. Crowbar Climber does exactly what it set its goal to do. Players use crowbars to climb. Yep, that's it. But somehow. This is fun as hell! Crowbar Climber is out now on the Meta Quest store and Steam.

UPDATE. As of last month Crowbar Climber now has Multiplayer!
