Cat Lady Comes to Steam Early Access October 17th

Looking for a quirky game to play for spooktober? Look no further! Fresh from Rose City Games, Cat Lady will be coming to Steam Early Access on October 17th!

Cat Lady is a dungeon crawler, rogue-lite with asurprisingly fresh premise – when Ally Marie goes to Grandma’s house one day, something spooky seems afoot. Grandma is nowhere to be found, the basement is filledwith spooky ghosts, and the cats are… talking? Luckily, Granny’s numerous catshave attained magical powers, and they’re ready to jump into the chaos with you!Together with your adorable sidekicks, you’ll hopefully be able to turn thispawsitively scary situation around!

I had the chance to check out the Cat Lady beta recently, and if you enjoy dungeon crawlers it’s definitely a ton of fun! Cat Lady features a soundtrack that is far more catchy than it has any right to be, and plenty of fast-paced, fluffy action. I’m especially a big fan of Cat Lady’s stylized aesthetic – pops of colour against a mostly black background.

I’m a sucker for cat puns and cute/quirky details, so aestheticallyand writing-wise, I found Cat Lady to be really enjoyable – it plays like anyserious dungeon crawler, while having that bit of pop and flair from the uniquestory and fascinating set of characters. You’ll get to take a primary andsecondary cat on your adventures with you, and of course you can switch secondarycats as you meet more of the gang. Each cat has a special ability that willhelp you make waste of all those nasty monsters haunting Grandma’s mansion.

If this sounds up your alley (which hopefully it should!), add Cat Lady to your wishlist now and get ready for early access shenanigans on the 17th!
