Anime Expo 2018 : Industry Panel Rundown for Sentai Filmworks

While a little rough, there was just too much for someone to cover while it was happening, so I’m stepping in to give a full rundown of all the news that Sentai shared.First, is the announcement for a summer sale on their website shop.sentaifilmworks.com running now until 7/22. In addition, there’s also a special promo code to get free shipping as well. First is Legend of Galactic Heroes Limited edition, for a whopping $800 it comes with a laundry list of limited run items and every episode ever. Next is the No Game No Life Zero movie, which has a limited edition set for pre-order, but you’ll need to act quickly as it is 75% sold out as of this morning. As Sentai is known for not doing reruns this is a once in a long time opportunity to get your hands on T-shirts, posters and other merchandise before these are possibly never seen again. The only options for rebellion are antique muskets and blunderbusses. Somehow a group of rebels manages to turn famous guns into people to fight the Empire with their sense of nobility. Based off the mobile game of the same name.Revue Starlight: A song and dance revue troupe loved throughout the world. Two young girls dream of joining the troupe. However, they’re separated until they turn 16 in which fate forces them to audition to gain acceptance into the revue along with other Stage Girls.Mr Tonegawa Middle Management Blues: President Hyodo is tired of dealing with debtors, so he orders mid-level manager, Yukio Tonegawa, to form a group of men and devise a series of sadistic games, called the Game of Death, to collect what is owed to him. Initially, Tonegawa and his black-suited men, known as Team Tonegawa, are hesitant to participate but quickly discover that their new line of work is more enjoyable than they originally thought.As well as these, there will be new dubs as well. Scum’s wish will be coming out for streaming service in September. Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions!, Takunomi, My Girlfriend is Shobitch and UQ Holder will be streaming on available platforms as well throughout the summer season. Coming out a little after the summer season with it’s dubbed episodes will be Made in Abyss coming out in October, and as you’ve probably guessed, it’s going to have a limited edition set as well so be sure to keep your eyes out.If you’re interested in these great Sentai shows, be sure to pick them up on their online store as they come out.
