A Quick Trip: Doron Dororon Ch. 4 Combined Strength
I'm so awesome! I recruited a red-haired punk and a wimpy-looking mononoke! Call it instinct. Call it a good eye. Call it intuition! Yep, I'm amazing!

Summary
In the wee hours of the morning, a sleeping Dora is woken up by Kusanagi because of they were being summoned by Ginchiyo. Angry at first at being summoned at such short notice - but Ginchiyo scolds him saying that Mononoke's usually happen at this time so it is important to be ready at all times.
As the trio walk into the forest, Dora learns that this is another one of Ginchiyo's tests to see how Dora and Kusanagi could protect a non-samurai ordinary person. While talking about it - a great Mononoke attacks and swallows Kusanagi whole. Ginchiyo immediately writes Kusanagi off, believing that the little Mononoke is gone, but Dora knows better.
Dora is rewarded for his faith with a genius move from Kusanagi and together they are able to defeat a great Mononoke - impressing Ginchiyo!
Favorites:
How many times are you willing to listen to me gush about the partnership that Kusanagi has with Dora? Because, again - this is my favorite part of this series so far. I love that they're willing to help each other, sure, but more than that - they believe in each other. They know that no matter what - they will always have each other's back.
I also particularly enjoy that even though Dora seems to be cynical - he still would do anything Even Ginchiyo, who I can assume is not easily impressed, is in awe of the two. I don't blame her!
Drawbacks:
Maybe it's because each chapter comes out only once a week for me and I don't have the ability to speed run through chapters - but I think this whole chapter feels like a repeat of the previous chapter. Ginchiyo was already impressed with them - another test seems superfluous.
As I am just being nitpicky at this point though, it doesn't really bother me as much.
Final Words:
We have reached the end of this quick trip, y'all! What do you think? Are you going to pick it up? What are your predictions?
As for myself, I'm definitely going to look forward to reading this series - and I hope it lasts for a long time!
