The Pull! [2.12.25]
It’s my favorite day of the week! Let’s talk some new comics and future comics!
Starting off with Marvel this week! We got the first comic from the new crossover event One World Under Doom #1 Doctor Doom became sorcerer supreme a couple of months back during Blood Hunt story line and now he has seemed to taken over the world with the snap of a finger. Thankfully though the heroes of earth are already trying to figure out what Doom is truly up to!
Up next with another new #1 is Eddie Brock: Carnage #1, you read that right, Eddie Brock is now Carnage! I am not sure how this one is going to go but I am very curious to see!
Our last Marvel issue of this week is also Rob Liefeld’s last ever issue on Deadpool with Deadpool Team-Up #5! If nothing else this is the end of an era for Deadpool.
Moving on from Marvel lets go right into DC, with Aquaman #2, now after the ending from issue #1, I for one am super curious as to where Arthur is and what is he going to try and do to get back to where he belongs!
You know what Aquaman needs? A lot of hope and you know what he is in luck because Green Lantern Corps #1 is out this week as well! Basically, every Earth Green Lantern is in this series so there is something and someone for every type of Green Lantern fan.
Now from having tons of hope to being in the dark it’s Batman Dark Patterns #3, the end of the first arc of this new Batman series. This series is brutal and having Batman be more detective like is always a plus!
Let’s leave behind the big 2 publishers and make our way to the indie scene starting with Image Comics!
This week we finally get Bug Wars #1! I have been waiting for this comic to come out for months. All I can say its Honey I shrunk the kids meets Game of Thrones. I am all in!
The Moon is Following Us #6 is also out this week. It has been a blast reading through this series and if you haven’t been able to read this you are missing out. I would recommend the trade paperback when it comes out to try and catch up!
Up next for the horror x romance peeps out there its Creepshow in Love #1! Three short love stories fill this comic out with love and horror what more can you want!
Let’s head down to Boom Studios! for our last new comic of the day with Flavor Girls: Return to the Mothership #3. If you haven’t been reading this flavorful magic girl comic, then you should start. It’s helps that it hits most of the magic girl tropes and is easy to pick up!
Now let’s take a look at some comics that are on FOC for Feb 17th!
I want to just get this one out of the way because there has been so much talk about this comic since it was announced and that is Harley Quinn Fartacular: Silent Butt Deadly #1. I am still at a loss for words.
Now that, that is out of the way let’s look forward to something a little different with Vatican City #1, published by Dark Horse Comics and written by Mark Miller! A vampire apocalypse has happened, and the last pocket of humanity is behind the doors of Vatican City but how long can they survive?
Up next from Boom Studios is Power Rangers Prime #5, this issue is the VR Troopers vs the Power Rangers, it is going to be epic!
The last issue I want to talk about is Absolute Batman #6, this is the end of the first story arc, and it has been a ride so far. Every absolute title from DC has been great so far!
That’s it for The Pull! this week, hope that we have helped you find something new and exciting to read! If you want to leave a comment and maybe help us, find something to read as well!
